
Program Description
This comprehensive training program teaches nurses how to work with Complex Care Members in their homes. There are 2 options of participation: PARTIAL and FULL Curriculum. For a full description of each option, please see the Program Participation Options section of this page.
There are 3 portions of the full program: asynchronous online learning, in-person demonstrations, and in-home observations. The FULL program provides 50 hours of training in skills and competencies commonly used in continuous skilled nursing services. The program also explores job opportunities within the community.
Program Participation Options
This program has 2 options of participation: Partial, and Full.
Partial Participation Option:
This option allows trainees to access 8 CSN Nursing Consideration Presentations and Relias content with asynchronous online modules. The modules provide 16+ ANCC approved contact hours towards the trainee’s license and more than 20 hours of training and education. Participants will have access for 30 days. Trainees will also have the opportunity to join a waitlist to potentially participate in a later session of the Full Participation option. Participants will not receive a $3000 stipend for this option.
Full Participation Option:
This option grants trainees access to 8 CSN Nursing Consideration Presentations and Relias content with asynchronous online modules. The modules provide 16+ ANCC approved contact hours towards their license and more than 40 hours of training and education. In addition, trainees will be required to attend in-person demonstrations and in-home observations. Participants will have 60 days from the start of the session to complete the online portion. The in-person and in-home sections will be scheduled after the completion of the online portion. The option takes approximately 50 hours to complete, and trainees who complete this option will receive a $3000 stipend.

Central lines, ports, wound & skin assessments in the home setting
